Rand raises his sword and points it at Cloud. "Purple Pain." A huge blast of purple energy, easily 3 times as large as any blast Ayn has ever shot, spews from Ray of Light, countering Cloud's Braver as well as attacking him.

Ayn stares curiously at Gale. "Why not? I've got.. well I DID have.. Her face twists into a glare. the one thing he wants.. a key to ultimate power."

Rand is obviously amused. "You're trying too hard, you may as well give it up.." Not even needing to charge, he sends another blast of Purple Pain at Cloud.

Ayn sighs. "Well, as long as he has the stone, you better not SHOW your anger or it'll only make him stronger. You know how that thing works, it feeds off of emotions."

*his eyes widen and he slashes the blast and his sword shakes, glowing black. it chops the blast in half and it disappears*
*stabs his sword into the ground and raises both of his hands into the air, creating a very, very large ball of purple and black ki*
*starts getting frustrated and builds the blast quicker*

She frowns. "I would argue with you, because you're horribly wrong on some points, but that would mean I'd have to take Rand's side."

Rand takes note that Cloud is pausing to charge his weapon, and he rams Ray of Light into the ground, tearing up dirt and creating large ravines in the earth. The structure that remains of the Herbal shop teeters on its broken foundation.. He pulls out Ray of Light and chants in Italian, both his eyes and his sword glowing blue.

He yells and thrusts Ray of Light in Gale's direction, and from it emits 4 or 5 fairly large blasts of bright blue energy, crackling and fizzing as sparks fly, landing on furniture, engulfing everything in their paths in flame.
